Photography one for Couture Hats

Photography one and Couture Hats had the pleasure of working together the last Sunday of Feb 2010 and can see from the results that the shoot was a success, capturing all detail and style from these amazing creations. 48 hours.....

This, the last weekend of February 2010 saw the City streets of Leeds being taken over by models on a shoot for Photography one with clothing from Nerxt one and Keles, in reverse order of the weekend, myslef and Natasha assisting on a shoot with model Eric Rosenberg(Eric can be found on Model Mayhem), fading light as the end of the day closed in, we got onto the streets in one of the oldest parts of the city to capture the shots here, armed with only 1 California sunbounce for the job, capturing the last of the daylight allowed us to get these reults.....very pleased.

After our time ran out, we shot in the studio set up for one of my favourite lighting set ups for some underweasr shots,single modified strip light, great results everytime.

Photography one takes Next one leather to the streets

Saturday the 13th of Feb was our first location test shoot for Next one leather, model Gemma helped us to get started on the look book for the new season, thanks Gemma.

We used various locations around Leeds to give a modern edgy editorial feel, the attached images are just an example from the days shoot.

More images will be posted so watch this space, also another blog will follow showing clothing from the new Spring/Summer range from French designer Anne Lombard and her collection "Oh my love"

The Yorkshire Wedding Show Leeds 20th & 21st Feb 2010

Photography one weddings will be exhibiting at The Yorkshire Wedding Show in Leeds at Savilles exhibition centre, Royal Armouries, Leeds. The exhibition centre is very easy to access and has a huge car park not 50 yards away from the entrance to the hall. Photogrpahy one weddings offers fashion inspired photography alongside traditional group shots of family and friend, reportage style shooting captures all the excitement, emotion and fun on the day.

London bridal shoot final part

Thank you for thr emails requesting more images form the bridal shoot in London, here are just a few more for you, again these were in the entrance of St Pauls cathedral, and to answer your questions on what lighting i used, the simple answer is none, the shots were taken using only the ambient light and metered very carefully, no reflectors and no flash, beautifully natural.................

adi pure, Adidas new sports clothing line

The images shown here are from the shoot earlier in 2009 for the new range from Adidas Taylor Made Golf, simply branded as adi pure, a range designed not purely for the golf course but an extended range of sporting and leisure wear.

Getting back to some of your requests for information on the lighting design, a very simple one light set up using a modified strip softbox to make the beam of light a little narrower than in standard use, the light was so narrow that nothing fell on the white background turning it completely black, this helped to create the mood, and also helped to create the feel i wanted, this helped set the brand apart from the rest of the product range on the shoot.
